16 faculty members stated there is less understanding and/or agreement on shifting our understanding of learner diversity from a perspective of deficiency to one of opportunity. Why we seem to be more diverse continues to be an area in need of clarification.
16 faculty members emphasized the need for additional support for students with learning differences and for teachers to receive the necessary training to effectively support a more diverse student population.
14 faculty members stated that there is a need for creating better understanding of what we mean by Social Emotional Learning (SEL), what we currently have in place in K-12 SEL curriculum and support, and what we need to improve in the way we address SEL, K-12.
9 faculty members are unclear about or not in agreement with the goal for our athletics programs to have stronger alignment with the educational practices of the school and its faculty.
